Refunds & cancellation policy

This policy applies to paid Seek TCG subscriptions once launched. It does not reduce statutory rights.

1. Ordinary cancellation of renewal

You can stop a web subscription renewing through account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period and no further renewal is charged. You retain access until then unless you also exercise a statutory cancellation right, request immediate account closure, or access is lawfully ended for another reason.

For an Apple in-app purchase, use Apple’s subscription-management controls. Seek TCG provides the system link and purchase-restoration route. Apple may administer Apple-channel billing and refund requests under its platform arrangements, but this does not remove any non-excludable right you have against Seek TCG.

Deleting the Seek TCG account does not by itself cancel a subscription. Before deletion, the product identifies the billing channel and explains how to stop renewal. Seek TCG will not leave a deleted user being charged without access.

2. Consumer right to cancel within 14 days

If you buy online as a consumer, you normally have 14 days from the day after the subscription contract is made to cancel without giving a reason. Before checkout, we provide the required information and a model cancellation form. You may use that form or make any other clear statement that you wish to cancel.

If you want access during the 14-day period, we will ask separately for your express request:

“I expressly request that Seek TCG begins providing the subscription service immediately, before my 14-day cancellation period ends. I understand that if I cancel during that period, I may have to pay a proportionate amount for the service supplied up to the time I cancel.”

Starting an ongoing Seek TCG service immediately does not, by itself, remove the whole 14-day cancellation right. If you expressly requested early performance and received the legally required information, we may deduct a proportionate amount for the service supplied before cancellation, based on the total agreed price and the service actually supplied. If the law does not permit a charge—for example because the required request or information was not obtained—we will not make one.

We will reimburse amounts due without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we are informed of the cancellation, using the original payment method unless lawfully agreed otherwise. Exercising statutory cancellation ends the contract; it is different from merely turning off the next renewal.

3. Faulty or misdescribed service

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires digital content and services to meet applicable standards, including reasonable care and skill for a service. If Seek TCG is faulty, materially not as described or not supplied with reasonable care and skill, contact us. Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to repeat performance, repair, a price reduction, refund or another statutory remedy. Nothing in this policy limits those rights.

4. Billing errors and discretionary refunds

We will correct genuine billing errors, including a duplicate Seek TCG charge or a charge taken after an effective Seek TCG cancellation. A duplicate involving both Apple and web billing will be investigated with the relevant channel. Any goodwill refund beyond statutory or contractual rights is discretionary and does not affect those rights.

5. How to cancel or request a refund

  • Cancel web renewal: Account → Billing → Cancel subscription.
  • Cancel Apple renewal: iOS subscription-management control provided in the app.
  • Exercise the 14-day right, report a fault or dispute a web charge: hello@seektcg.com, or write to us at 2 Ashcombe Road, Merstham, Surrey, RH1 3BY, United Kingdom.
  • Apple billing request: follow the Apple refund route shown in the app, and contact Seek TCG at hello@seektcg.com if the issue concerns Seek TCG’s performance or statutory responsibility.

We will acknowledge a request in a durable form. Include the account email, order reference, billing channel and a clear description of what you want; do not send payment-card details.
